The Jacksonville Zoo...

I took a trip with my family down there on Sunday. It was awfully nice! Perfect weather to be there and well... just perfect!!! The animals were out and playing and the flowers were in perfect bloom! Enjoy!

Last weekend I got to shoot a 3 month old. His name is Kainen and his mommy is Laura. He is such a lil chub! I love chubby babies!

Allow me to introduce myself...

Well everyone, the time has come for me to create a blog devoted to my photography. I've been toying with one for quite some time, but decided to delete it today and start from scratch. You'll have to excuse any typing or spelling errors... dyslexia and all.

A little about me: My name is Dani and I am a mother and wife. My little boy is my greatest blessing and I use him often as my muse or my subject in my photos. I am currently in the portfolio building stage of my photography and hope to sometime in the next year or so be ready to go pro. My husband is a life saver in more ways than he knows. He's also a photographer, but more on the side for him. He and I got married at a very young age, and intend to make it last forever.

Any of my friends might tell you I'm a tad on the quirky side. I guess that's true but I try not to judge myself in any sort of way, so I couldnt tell you for sure. I love to make people laugh and tend to be very quick at any project I start, so that I can eventually get it finisshed... ADD and all...

I was born and raised in the same town, and have seen it grow amazingly. I havent traveled much, but I to intend to. I want to go everywhere and take pictures of everything. I like to read, but am super picky about WHAT I read. I have the hardest time finging new books that keep my interest, so maybe any of you readers out there can suggest some new novels?? I usually end up just reading the same things over and over again... I enjoy baking, and painting, and cooking and anything creative really... I tend to leave my laundry all over the house, and am HORRIBLE at cleaning the cat box out (thanks go out to my hubby for fixing that lil quirk of mine) I'm stubborn and hard headed and kind of erratic too.

Well... thats me in a nut shell, flaws included. I hope you come back MANY times to see what new photography I offer and what else might be going on in this thing I call my life.... Soon I'll be getting my photography up here, but I plan to tinker with this for a few days before anything is final.
